I have now sorted out travel arrangements for the beginning and end of my pilgrimage. A great result on trainline secured me a train ticket from Cambridge to Penzance on Sunday 16th July for just £30.00. The journey is around 7 1/2 hours and I will have to get the bus from Penzance to St Buryan, and then walk the last three miles, but it is a much better plan that having somebody drive me all the way to Land’s End!
My return to Swavesey from Cambridge on the 3rd September is arranged courtesy of Mary & Terry (Thank You).
I have also been able to make arrangements for equipment exchanges for the weekends of:
Saturday 29th/Sunday 30th July in Exeter (Thank you Ed)
Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th August in Winchester (Thank you Esther, Chris and Ellie)
If anybody is still interested in visiting at a weekend during my journey, I am still looking for Equipment Exchanges on:
Saturday 19th/Sunday 20th August in Brighton. I also need to exchange children! Abi delivered to Brighton and Chris back to Swavesey.
Saturday 26th/Sunday 27th August in Rye.
I am also open to visitors on two other weekends. Having Equipment Exchanges on these two weekends would mean that I wouldn’t have to carry quite so much equipment each week.
Saturday 5th August/Sunday 6th August in Dorchester
Saturday 22nd July/Sunday 23rd July in Lostwithiel
IF YOU CAN HELP WITH ANY OF THESE WEEKENDS, OR WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME AT ANOTHER TIME, PLEASE TEXT ME ON 07886 917 374 OR EMAIL ME AT DAVID@APILGRIMSJOURNEY.UK
